Based in Europe, Active Across the Globe
As a part of the Royal Ahrend group, we are an international leader in office furniture committed to delivering contemporary and highly sustainable office lifestyles to corporate end-users around the world. From retail interiors to prestigious office projects – we are at the forefront of modern interior design and can deliver a full service efficiently across the globe.
Production
With production facilities in Western, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Far East we are able to manufacture close to our main customer bases giving us unique flexibility in meeting the specific requirements of our customers. With dedicated facilities for wood, metal and upholstered furniture production, all utilising state-of-the-art production equipment and techniques.
Logistics
Key to our ability to deliver and install interior furnishings across the globe is our logistics organisation. We make use of all types of interior furnishing products sourced from across the globe. We continually strive to maximise the efficiency of our logistic operation so as to reduce our carbon footprint. Our group has factories in Western Europe, Central Europe, one in the Far East and a smaller plant in Russia. This gives us the ability to produce as close as possible to our client bases.
International standards
Royal Ahrend is a leader in compliance with international standards that guarantee the quality of our products, the wellbeing of our employees and protection of the environment.
In the past decade we have ploughed significant investment into our factory in order to reduce environmental impact. With respect to air and water pollution, our factory operates within Scandinavian standards, which are much stricter than the applicable EU standards. Our emissions only reach 10% of the permissible limits set by EU standards.
We are proud to be a member of the exclusive club of production companies that take a serious approach to the environment and natural resources. We became the first FISP (Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme) member and certificate holder with its manufacturing base outside Great Britain.
