At the end of 2010 and beginning 2011, the Slovak branch of TECHO delivered an order for Phoenix Zeppelin, s.r.o., a company belonging to the German concern Zeppelin, which represents international brands of construction machinery such as Caterpillar and Weber. The order was delivered to their new headquarters in the industrial zone in Banská Bystrica. Over an area of almost 30 thousand square metres a building with modern sales, administration and service areas was constructed.

In the administration part TECHO supplied 70 workstations. The architect’s concept was best fulfilled by a desk system from parent company Ahrend combined with Sidiz office chairs. Sufficient storage space is provided by Element cabinets and TECHO Slim C3M pedestals. The individual workstations are separated by multi-functional screens that optimise the structure of the entire space and also help to reduce unwanted workplace noise. Non-standard fitted furniture was supplied in the form of two kitchenettes, sensitively built into the wall, and wardrobes with a retro-design in the form of numbers depicted using punch holes. Also installed at Zeppelin is the increasingly popular wall decoration feature using photo-wallpaper. With regards to the cable management for the individual workstations, TECHO used the concept of central floor boxes providing easy access to cables whilst maintaining the impression of a clean workstation design.
