Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra

With regards to orders for academic institutions, academies and schools, the TECHO group can already boast a range of successful projects. In Slovakia the most important order for the education sector is the supply of furnishings for the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra at the end of 2009, beginning or 2010.

The order was split into several stages according to the room use and type of furniture supplied. For the entrance hall of the university TECHO produced special PC stands with aluminium ventilated body and retractable keyboard holder. Students have the opportunity to relax on coaches and cushions.

The lecture rooms were furnished with upholstered folding seats placed in several rows. The lecturer has a Citis SN desk. For the study room TECHO produced bookshelves, Citis and Arkus A desks and conference chairs. Part of the university complex is also a pastoral centre which in 2009 won the prestigious CE-ZA-AR 2009 prize from the Slovak Chamber of Architects in the category Building Renovation and Reconstruction. TECHO supplied seating for this centre along with religious elements, mobile acoustic partition, kitchenette and rest zone with PC tables.
