University of Economics

The conditions for winning the tender for furnishing the new interiors of the University of Economics were prepared by our long-term consultancy activity. Within the framework of the project TECHO supplied furniture for the offices of academic staff, consultation corners, classrooms and academic club. TECHO also supplied all glass and wood panels, staircase banisters and banisters over drops, doors, glass partitions and fitted furniture (reception desk, sales counters, desks for lecturers) as well as the fitting out of a gym. The most prestigious part of the order, both for TECHO and the university, was the dominant and unique main staircase with glass steps and a load-bearing structure from glued tie-beams.

TECHO delivered and installed its order between May and October 2005 but the preparations for the order commenced in 2003. This order with a value of approx. EUR  3.05 million is one of the key projects of the company. In the words of Managing Director ing. Jiří Kejval, “orders for the education sector form an important area of activity for our company”.
