After more than half a year of preparation TECHO in October and November 2008 participated in the reconstruction of the Art Nouveau building on Rytířská street in Prague. The architectural project was prepared by the architecture firm ASGK. The building on Rytířská is the bank’s flagship branch with respect to the unique interior. Project „Rytířská“ is also part of a pilot project „Private Banking“, which has an interior which differs significantly from the ČS standard. The order with a total value of 6.7 million CZK involved the furnishing by TECHO of two client floors and two back office floors for ČS. The back office administration areas were furnished with standard Horizont desks with screens, pedestals and cabinets. The main part of the banking hall on the ground floor and first floor is furnished with 35 very unusual workstations with screens, which for the bank clerk and client provide a pleasant privacy zone. The interior is complimented by non-standard solitary items. The architects attempted to sensitively fit out the historical interiors with modern furnishings, whilst the unifying element was the colour of horizontal worksurfaces.
