From August 2008 to January 2009 TECHO worked on the fit-out of the new National Technical Library building in Prague 6, which replaced the existing State Technical Library and the libraries of the VŠCHT and ČVUT universities. Spread over the 6 floors of the NTK are public areas and administration offices linked by a large atrium. On the ground floor is an entrance hall and space for a café, municipal library, conference and exhibition rooms and other rental space. Over the three basement levels are located the book depositary and car park. In the new NTK building Techo furnished the office space and kitchenettes, including individual study rooms providing students a perfect environment. TECHO worked closely with PROJEKTIL ARCHITEKTI headed by Roman Brychta. The delivered furniture comprised Esprit and Horizont desks and Scio 010 chairs. The total order value was in the region of 60 million crowns.
