In December 2009 TECHO delivered a project for the Prague 6 District Council located at Československé armády 23. The project involved the complete reconstruction of a six-storey building in Prague Bubenec. In the office areas, spread over the 6 floors, 350 workstations were created for employees of the authority. The office space was furnished by TECHO with desk systems Horizont, Arkus A and W.O.T., as well as wooden pedestals, wooden cabinets, seating, screens, Novum office accessories, metal shelves and fitted wooden items. The interior design was created by ARKUS ARCHITEKT STUDIO 2000. TECHO as the exclusive supplier of standard and custom furnishings worked closely with the architects during the preparation of the overall interior layout and design of the office space. Opening the central part of the allowed the creation of receptions on all floors of the building and the original closed offices were transformed into an open-space environment, divided into sections using modern glass partitions, and a control room for monitoring traffic in Prague 6. TECHO supplied custom-made furniture for the entrance hall, the receptions on all floors and specialist workstations. The finished project was handed over at the end of December 2009. The choice of materials and colours as well as the use of other interior elements also contributed to the overall improvement of the work environment.
