The production of office interiors for the electricity generator CEZ in the Romanian town of Pitesti was decided in April 2008. The actual delivery of the entire project took around five months.
For interior layout design, TECHO Romania worked with an architectural studio headed by arch. Georgiana Albita.
The order for one and a quarter million CZK consisted of nine workstations with a total area of 150 m².
Although this is a relatively small order, the project was unique because of the chosen colour – almost all the office furniture that TECHO supplied for this order was finished in black. From the Esprit desk systems incl. storage, to wooden cabinets and chairs for visitors. Only the Futura task chairs had a different colour – the client chose orange.
After the successful completion of this order in 2008 TECHO Romania is currently working on the furnishing of another CEZ branch in the town of Ramnicu Valcea. In addition to this project TECHO is expecting a further two orders for this client in 2009.
