TECHO’s storage systems have been developed to offer simple, well organised and efficient storage products. The modern and ageless design of the storage products contributes to the quality of any office space.
STEEL CABINETS
These are designed for furnishing offices, archives, medical centres etc. The cabinets are therefore manufactured in height modules of 735 mm, 1080 mm and 1780 mm and width modules of 800 mm, 1000 mm and 1200 mm. These metal cabinets have a range of beneficial characteristics. The main ones include fire resistance (can be used in high buildings), long service life, low transport weight, visual simplicity and good stability. The metal sound that arises from opening or closing the doors is suppressed using a rubber bumper. As standard the cabinets are supplied with levelling adjustment. A wide variety of internal fittings are available giving the system great flexibility. These internals include fixed and pull-out shelves, fixed and pull-out frames, drawers and wardrobe fittings. The joints used to connect the various cabinet components not only ensure good stability but also allow the replacement of, for example, damaged parts. The load bearing capacity of shelves under even load is 30 kg. The carcass is made of deep-drawn 0.8 mm steel sheet and finished with a powder coating in RAL9004 (black), RAL9007 (gunmetal) or RAL9022 (silver). The tops of the steel cabinets are made from MFC. Shelves are made from 0.8 mm steel sheet, frames and drawers from 1.3 mm steel sheet. The tambour door is made from ABS shutters from Rehau. Metal fittings are from Hettich and locks from Lehmann
WOODEN CABINETS
Cabinets made from traditional materials compliment the TECHO desk systems. They are produced in three height modules, 735, 1063 and 1780 mm and in width modules of 800, 1000 and 1200 mm. These cabinets are available with both wing and sliding doors. Cabinets with sliding doors are designed for locations where space is limited. The cabinets are fitted with a lock as standard to protect the cabinet against forced opening. Cabinets with wing doors open at an angle of 110° to give maximum access. Customers can customise the cabinets by choosing from a wide selection of optional internal fittings such as standard shelves and various drawers and frames. Another no less important characteristic is the level adjustment provided by the adjusting bolts in the metal plinth. Nika is a complementary product available in three height modules which offer more options when creating storage walls. The series of wooden cabinets have dimensions that are compatible with the Element system. They are produced from laminated chipboard of thickness 8 and 18 mm. The edges are plastic and 1 and 1.5 mm thick. The cabinets can be fitted with metal shelves with a load bearing capacity of 30 kg under even load, wardrobe fittings or pull-out shelves and frames. Metal parts are supplied with the following powder coating finishes: RAL9007 (gunmetal), RAL9004 (black) or RAL9022 (silver).
