MFC, EKOTECH

For the manufacture of standard TECHO furniture Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC) with a thickness of 18 mm (8 mm for cabinet backs) is used. The MFC boards have an ABS edge.18 mm EKOTECH (Medium Density Fibreboard finished with a High Pressure Laminate) is used for selected TECHO products. This can have a chamfered edge.Other thicknesses are non-standard (e.g. MFC 25 mm thick, even if it has a standard finish).
