TECHO PRESENTS ITS REVOLUTIONARY NEW W.O.T. DESK SYSTEM
PRAGUE, 7th October 2008 – Interior furnishings company TECHO presented its new product, the universal desk system W.O.T. The clean and elegant design was created by the Czech design studio ADR led by Petr Kolář and Aleš Lapka in cooperation with renowned Dutch designer Hans Verboom – who developed the technical solution.
TECHO PARTNERS EVA JIRICNA SEMINAR
PRAGUE, 29th September 2008 – Internationally renowned architect Eva Jiricna will give a seminar in Prague during the festival Architectureweek 2008 (29. 9 – 5. 10 2008). One of the partners of the seminar is TECHO, which has a long history of cooperation with Eva Jiricna.
TECHO ESTABLISHES A PRESENCE IN AUSTRIA AND CROATIA
PRAGUE, 11th September 2008 – interiors furnishing company TECHO has established two new branches; one in Central Europe and one in South-eastern Europe. The first customer of both TECHO GmbH and TECHO Adria d.o.o. is the large Austrian banking group, Erste Group.
TECHO RETURNS TO GEORGIA
PRAGUE, 2nd September 2008 – Commercial interiors company TECHO has decided to continue its activities in Georgia, where in June 2008 it established a branch TECHO GEORGIA Ltd. The company would also like to open a small production facility there.
TECHO ESTABLISHES A BRANCH IN GEORGIA
PRAGUE, 07th July 2008 – Commercial interiors company TECHO established a new branch in Georgia in June of 2008. TECHO GEORGIA Ltd. will be managed by Michael Kodua, a Georgian who has a Czech family. Among the important clients in this Transcaucasian country is the largest retail bank in Georgia, Bank of Georgia. The sales of TECHO GEORGIA Ltd. should reach 100 million crowns within two years.
TECHO WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND SUPERVISORY BOARD
Prague, 30th June 2008 - Bastiaan Brouns (40), currently manager of Royal Ahrend for Central and Eastern Europe, has been appointed a member of the Board of Directors of TECHO, a.s., a leading producer of office furniture. The Board of Directors has also been joined by the current Sales Manager of TECHO, Petr Hampl (41). On the Supervisory Board departing member, Jan Šťovíček, will be replaced by Jan Petrák (35), Strategic Development Manager. The management changes were prompted by the completion of the acquisition of TECHO by Dutch company Royal Ahrend.
TECHO IS THE FIRST MEMBER OF THE FISP PROGRAMME OUTSIDE GREAT BRITAIN
PRAGUE, 24th June 2008 – Furniture company TECHO has become the first FISP member and certificate holder based outside Great Britain. The main objective of this programme is to ensure best practice with regards to a company’s relationship to the environment and corporate social responsibility in general. It was launched in 2006 by the Furniture Industry Environmental Committee.
ROYAL AHREND BECOMES THE 100% OWNER OF TECHO
PRAGUE 22nd April 2008 – The Dutch company Royal Ahrend has completed its acquisition of TECHO and is now the sole shareholder.
