TECHO is a partner of the prestigious project INTERIOR SK 05/07
BRATISLAVA, October 22nd -TECHO is one of the main partners of the project INTERIOR.SK.05/07, which was initiated in 2008 by the association Design Slovakia, the leading professional organisation in the area of design and architecture in Slovakia. INTERIOR.SK.05/07 is a travelling exhibition that will visit Bratislava, Košice, Vienna, Budapest and Prague (between October 2008 and October 2009). Part of the project is also a specialist publication, the first of its type in Slovakia, which the organisers plan to issue in March 2009.
Of a total number of 241 works submitted to the project by Slovak architects, designers, manufacturers and students, 120 works were selected by the 7-member jury for presentation at the exhibition and in the subsequent book. TECHO hosted the meeting of the jury meeting on 2nd October 2008 at the TECHO CENTRE in Bratislava. The TECHO CENTRE provided a creative and innovative environment for the deliberations of the jury. “The jury that was engaged in the selection of the exceptional interiors and designs was very appreciative of the fact that they could work in such an inspirational and cultivated interior” stated Ľubica Fábri, the person behind INTERIOR.SK.05/07 and director of the association Design Slovakia.
The grand opening of the festival design and architecture DESIGN DAYS 2008 was held at the TECHOCENTRE along with the opening of the exhibition INTERIOR.SK.05/07 – best of the best, presenting the selected works that have received awards in architecture and design competitions in SR or abroad. All the selected works were displayed from 22 to 26 October at the trade fair MODDOM 2008 in Bratislava, and received one of the awards of MODDOM 2008. They will be exhibited in East Slovakia from 15.1 to 1.3 2009 at STM in Košice. The exhibition INTERIOR.SK.05/07 – best of the best can be seen at the Bratislava TECHOCENTRE until 14 November 2008.
