TECHO furnishes the offices of Huawei Technologies in Paris

PRAGUE, 15 March 2010 – TECHO completed an order for the French branch of Huawei Technologies, the world leader in the area of telecommunications. After deliveries to Romania and Croatia, it is the third successfully completed project for this company and TECHO is now a step closer to concluding a general agreement for the supply of office furniture to this client.

„This was the first order for Huawei Technologies delivered within Western Europe. We again entered the tender together with our parent company Royal Ahrend, which is focussed on the markets of this region. Thanks in part to this we were able to beat our largest international competitors and win the project,“ says Martin Hořovský, Key account manager TECHO.

The order for the Paris branch with a total value in excess of 3.5 million CZK is the third project that TECHO has delivered for Huawei. The year before last Techo Romania was successful in a tender to furnish the Romanian branch, and a year later in cooperation with Royal Ahrend we received the order for the Croatian branch of this company.

Over the three-floor Paris office, TECHO installed office furniture for approx. 120 standard workstations over a period of just four weeks. Also supplied were furnishings for management workstations, meeting rooms and kitchenettes. The furniture supplied included CITIS SN and Horizont desks, Ahrend 160 and SCIO chairs and other office furnishings.
