TECHO HAS A NEW FINANCIAL MANAGER
Prague, 13th May 2009 – Interior fit-out company TECHO has appointed František Čermák (41) to the position of Chief Financial Officer. He has held this position since January of this year. One of his main tasks will be coordination of financial activities with the parent company Royal Ahrend.
MAKEOVER FOR THE SLOVAK BRANCH OF TECHO
BRATISLAVA, 17th March 2009 – During last year, the Bratislava branch, TECHO s.r.o., underwent several important changes. This related to the modernisation of the office interiors and the addition of new members to the existing team. This helped TECHO Slovakia to deliver a whole range of important projects during 2008 and also prepared the ground for a smooth start to 2009.
NIGERIA OFFERS OPPORTUNITIES FOR EXPERIENCED EXPORTERS
PRAGUE, 5th March 2009 – Czech interior fit-out company TECHO has successfully completed a further project in Central Africa. This time it was the furnishing of one of the largest banks in Nigeria - First Bank of Nigeria. In Central Africa TECHO has already delivered tens of projects, but until now all the orders have been for hospitals.
TECHO INCREASED ITS SALES LAST YEAR DESPITE THE CRISIS
PRAGUE, 19th February 2009 – in 2008 TECHO group achieved sales of 1.27 billion CZK. Compared to the previous year this represents an increase of seven per cent. The sales increased despite the unfavourable exchange rates with respect to the major export market of Great Britain and the economic crisis which took effect during the last quarter of 2008.
TECHO CONTINUES WITH FURNISHING THE CITY TOWER
PRAGUE, 9th February 2009 - Last year TECHO furnished the offices of five companies in the Pankrac City Tower. During the first months of this year we have already managed to add an additional project to that number. This is the delivery of a comprehensive solution for the pharmaceutical company on the third floor of this Pancrac landmark. In terms of volume this is one of the largest orders that TECHO has delivered here. An interesting feature of the project was that unlike the other projects the key negotiations took place in English.
TECHO’S HUNGARIAN BRANCH HAD AN EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL YEAR
BUDAPEST, 27th January 2009 - The Budapest branch TECHO Hungária last year achieved everything needed for its further development and success. From the appointment of a manager to the recruitment of new employees and the successful delivery of tens of orders.
TECHO HAS HANDED OVER ITS 10TH HOSPITAL PROJECT
PRAGUE, 12th December 2008 - On November 24th, Techo finished and handed over the project for the Makokou Regional Hospital, in Gabon. This brought the number of completed hospital projects in Africa to 10. In addition to this project, another two hospitals were finished in 2008: the Tchibanga Regional Hospital and Lambarene Regional Hospital, both also in equatorial Gabon. 7 out of the 9 regional cities of Gabon now have hospitals equipped with interiors from TECHO.
TECHO IS A PARTNER OF THE PRESTIGIOUS PROJECT INTERIOR SK 05/07
BRATISLAVA, 22nd October 2008 -TECHO is one of the main partners of the project INTERIOR.SK.05/07, which was initiated in 2008 by the association Design Slovakia, the leading professional organisation in the area of design and architecture in Slovakia. INTERIOR.SK.05/07 is a travelling exhibition that will visit Bratislava, Košice, Vienna, Budapest and Prague (between October 2008 and October 2009). Part of the project is also a specialist publication, the first of its type in Slovakia, which the organisers plan to issue in March 2009.
