TECHO concludes an agreement with Erste Group for a further three years

PRAGUE, 26 June 2009 – Interior furnishing company TECHO has signed a new contract with Erste Group Bank AG for the supply of office furniture. For at least a further three years TECHO will furnish their branches in seven countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

„On the basis of the new agreement the scope has been extended to include the furnishing of branches in Romania and Ukraine. In addition, the company is also in negotiations regarding a return to Croatia where, due to strong local competition, cooperation was interrupted from the start of this year,“ said Ondřej Vanko, manager of the Key Account section at TECHO.

„Within the framework of the Furniture for Historical Buildings project of the head office in Vienna we are furnishing interiors under the watchful eye of conservationists. In addition to branches in old buildings in Liberec and Prague on Rytířská street, which we completed in the second half of last year, we will this summer work on a branch on Senovážné náměstí in Prague,“ added Vanko.

TECHO has been the general supplier for Erste Group since 2006. To date hundreds of orders have been delivered, from small branches to large office projects in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Croatia. „Since 2006 we have delivered almost 14 thousand new workstations and cooperation with this client was also the main impulse behind the opening of two new branches last year; TECHO GmbH in Austria and TECHO Adria d.o.o, in Croatia“ concluded Vanko.
