ARCHDAYS Night 2010 at TECHOCENTRUM Bratislava
BRATISLAVA, 24th May 2010 - In Bratislava from 17th to 30th May 2010 the 1st annual festival of contemporary architecture and design is taking place organised by the association Design Slovakia. The festival programme consists of exhibitions of Slovak and foreign architecture, presentations, lectures and discussions. An important part of the festival was the international conference on architecture and design A+D FORUM 2010 (20 – 21.5), attended by experts from Slovakia, Czech Republic and other Central European countries. As one of the partners of ARCHDAYS 2010 and the A+D FORUM 2010, TECHO in Bratislava hosted an evening social event ARCHDAYS Night 2010, attended by guests of A+D FORUM 2010, leading Slovak architects, clients of TECHO, partners of Design Slovakia and other prominent guests. During the evening, which was moderated by Soňa Müllerová, respected Slovak TV news station TA3 broadcasted the impressions of participating guests. Rastislav Pekárik, manager of TECHO, s. r. o. in Bratislava added: „It was an honour for us to welcome to the TECHOCENTRUM during ARCHDAYS Night 2010 important guests such as architects Jakub Cigler (CMA Prague), Petr Kolář (ADR Prague), Krzystof Ingarden (Krakow), Paul Angelier (Berlin), Roman Talaš (Bratislava), Viktor Šabík (Nitra) and others. I am pleased that as partners of Design Slovakia we are a co-founder of the festival ARCHDAYS 2010 and I am confident that we will create a prestigious annual event focussed on the presentation of high-quality contemporary architecture in Central Europe.“
