TECHO HELPS THE ENVIRONMENT AND ITS EMPLOYEES
New extraction equipment has recently been installed at the TECHO production plant that significantly reduces temperature losses in the winter, significantly reduces the impact of production on the environment and also improves the working environment for its production employees.
TECHO FURNISHES BRATISLAVA AIRPORT
PRAGUE, 1st July 2010 - The interior of the unique terminal building was furnished by TECHO with furnishings in a white-grey finish with contrasting features in red. In addition to waiting areas this dynamic combination is also used in the restaurant areas, bar, cafes and VIP saloon. According to Peter Kantor from the Bratislava branch of TECHO, it was a non-standard arrangement that required exceptionally demanding planning and implementation.
ARCHDAYS NIGHT 2010 AT TECHOCENTRUM BRATISLAVA
BRATISLAVA, 24th May 2010 - In Bratislava from 17th to 30th May 2010 the 1st annual festival of contemporary architecture and design is taking place organised by the association Design Slovakia. The festival programme consists of exhibitions of Slovak and foreign architecture, presentations, lectures and discussions.
TECHO WINS ZLATÝ STŘEDNÍK FOR BEST COMPANY CATALOGUE 2009
PRAGUE, 13th May 2010 – Interior furnishing company TECHO won first prize in the national competition for company publications Zlatý středník. In the category Best Company Catalogue the prize went to its large format magazine TECHO News. The prize was received on Thursday evening at the Prague Archa Theatre by Jiří Kejval, CEO of TECHO and Milan Jaroš, responsible for the magazine layout.
TECHO WINS A PRESTIGIOUS RED DOT DESIGN AWARD FOR THE WOT DESK
PRAGUE, 19 March 2010 – Interior furnishing company TECHO has won a prestigious red dot award, one of the most prestigious international awards for industrial design, for its universal desking system WOT The prize is awarded annually by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany. WOT received an award on the basis of assessment by a jury of thirty leading designers and design experts from over 20 countries.
TECHO FURNISHES THE OFFICES OF HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES IN PARIS
PRAGUE, 15 March 2010 – TECHO completed an order for the French branch of Huawei Technologies, the world leader in the area of telecommunications. After deliveries to Romania and Croatia, it is the third successfully completed project for this company and TECHO is now a step closer to concluding a general agreement for the supply of office furniture to this client.
TECHO GROWS STRONGER DESPITE THE CRISIS
PRAGUE, 10 February 2010 – Interior company TECHO announced 2009 sales of 975 million CZK with a profit of 19 million CZK. Despite the drop in demand caused by the global crisis, and also an unprecedented drop in prices, the company last year managed to significantly increase its market share, not just in the Czech Republic, but in Central and Eastern Europe as a whole.
TECHO PLACED IN THE CZECH 100 BEST 2009
PRAGUE, 30th November 2009 – At the Prague Castle on Friday 27th November the official results of the Czech 100 Best 2009 competition took place. In the category Inventiveness – Application – Export – Profit, TECHO was placed seventh.
