To be an international company with a strong position in the key countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
- Permanently maintain a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 and thus conform to the requirements of the European Community, which ensure a consistent quality of products and services.
- Ensuring a high level of quality of our products and also the health and safety of employees at work and reduction of environmental impact are priorities for achieving the success and prosperity of our company and increasing competitiveness in the domestic and foreign markets.
For fulfilment of this objective the following strategy has been drawn up to ensure a culture of continual improvement.
Products of TECHO a.s.
- The products of TECHO, a.s. represent an effective solution for office interiors and create the optimum environment for dynamic companies.
- In developing its products TECHO, a.s. works with leading Czech and foreign designers.
- All our products conform to the requirements for health and safety. Standard products have been certified by an EN accredited test facility. We also pay attention to these requirements when purchasing materials/components.
- In developing products and designing our services, we make sure that the materials used are recyclable and that production, processing and disposal do not harm the environment.
- For this reason, we work to minimise the materials needed for our products, while retaining maximum product functionality.
- We inform our customers of the ecological aspects of our products, and at the end of the life of a product we offer to collect and ecologically dispose of them.
Customers
- Our customer is our greatest priority. Our relationship with the customer is driven by the effort to fulfil all his expectations in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and a comprehensive service. For this reason TECHO a.s. organises not only interior furnishing but also necessary construction work.
- Contact with customers is undertaken within an environment of mutual cooperation on the basis of transparency and set guidelines. We ensure the customer is fully informed on the use of the products supplied and to utilise feedback from the customer to continually improve customer satisfaction.
Suppliers
- The systematic selection of suppliers based on the principle of partnership and focussed primarily on the quality of the purchased supplies, to ensure that only high-quality supplies are used for our products.
- When selecting suppliers, priority is given to those that can demonstrate the quality of their supplies by means of a quality certificate (ISO 9000), or product certificates.
- We require that our suppliers regularly monitor and evaluate the quality of the materials they supply, and their potential impacts on the environment.
Within the company
- In the internal activities of the company the conditions are created for continual improvement of all processes. Efforts are taken to ensure observance of the quality system throughout the course of all activities, i.e. from the start of each commercial matter to the guarantee and post-guarantee service.
- Quality and customer satisfaction is achieved with the participation of all employees. We expect from all employees professionalism, cooperation and an interest in the good results of the company.
- An integral part of our quality policy is also the due maintenance of order and a positive working environment in all working areas. All health and safety at work regulations are observed. TECHO a.s. is preparing for certification in accordance with OHSAS 18001.
- Part of our quality policy is also the continual and planned increase of the qualifications of all employees. To support the stability and solidarity of the workforce there is a programme of employee benefits.
- We consider knowledge of health and safety regulations to be of importance for all employees. We therefore arrange regular training on legal and other requirements and principles for ensuring health and safety at work.
The environment
- Respecting environmental regulations is a priority for our company in all of its activities, even at the expense of profit. This is also confirmed by certification of the company in accordance with ČSN EN ISO 14001. The certificate was awarded to TECHO a.s. in the 1st Q 2004.
- We pay thorough attention to eliminating any negative effects of our operation on the environment. Where possible we give preference to recyclable materials.
- When purchasing products made from wood-based raw materials TECHO a.s. gives preference to wood from sustainably managed forests (certification according to FSC or PEFC). TECHO a.s. therefore also requested certification of the Chain of Custody (C-o-C) for wood and has received this certificate.
- We ensure that our production processes comply fully with all environmental and workplace protection requirements.
- All potential environmental impacts are regularly monitored. The results of this monitoring are analysed, and appropriate measures are subsequently adopted for improvement.
- We arrange for the ecological liquidation of all waste from our manufacturing processes, recycling it as far as possible.
- We familiarise all of our employees with the company’s environmental policy; environmental targets and requirements are specified for individual organizational units, and responsibility for compliance with them is incorporated into the job descriptions of employees.
- We have regular contact concerning environmental matters with the appropriate state supervisory authorities.
Health and Safety
- We ensure that all activities connected with the implementation of health and safety regulations are in accordance with the applicable EU and Czech regulations and also international agreements to which the Czech Republic is bound.
- With regards to health and safety risks connected with the workplace and work processes, we ensure the conditions for safe working by means of suitable health and safety measures aimed at minimising or eliminating risks.
- In cases where it is not possible to completely eliminate or reduce health and safety risks to an acceptable level we provide employees with protective devices. These are maintained in good condition and their use is controlled.
- We endeavour to organise the workplace layout and equipment in such a way that work conditions conform to the health and safety requirements and limits placed on them. We organise work and work procedures so that health and safety principles are not breached. We do not allow employees to perform work that is not within their capabilities.
- The fulfilment of health and safety tasks is an integral part of the job responsibilities of all management employees. Every employee is, however, obliged to take care of their own health and safety as well as the health and safety of those around them.
Management obligations
- The company, at suitable intervals, shall evaluate its objectives, products, the effectiveness of processes and customer satisfaction. The analysed results of the evaluations are then used as a basis for preventative and corrective measures to improve the individual processes and customer satisfaction.
- The company’s management has created the conditions to carry out, at suitable intervals, evaluations of the company’s objectives, products and processes, looking at their environmental impacts. Analysis of data from those evaluations leads to preventative and remedial measures being adopted to improve the environmental aspects of individual processes.
- We strive to ensure the continual improvement of health and safety and its management so that it best fulfils the changing legislative requirements and commercial conditions. We regularly assess the health and safety policy and its objectives and check the achieved standard of health and safety.
- The TECHO a.s. management undertakes to create the human, financial and material resources necessary to implement and improve the management system processes and improve customer satisfaction.
- The board of directors of the company fully supports the implementation of the declared management system policy.
